My inspired thoughts on feelings.....

What is the overall feeling that every healthy individual desires?

Assumption:  We all desire an authentic feeling of overall joy that aligns us with our Highest Good/Expression.

Feelings are indicators of our alignment or misalignment – our state of being.

Feelings are one of the ways our vibration is tuned in or out of alignment and therefore is one of the key factors of our current reality and our ability to manifest our desires.

Healthy expression of feelings allows an overall better feeling, clarity and choice.   It allows for an authentic way of being, communication and a pathway to the desired authentic overall joy that is in alignment with Highest Good and our Highest purpose.

Feelings that are repressed or remain unconscious, due to a variety of beliefs patterns (learned over a life time), can find a distorted way of expression and can often be identified as an overall defensive or an unconscious reactive feeling.

To uncover the underlying /denied feeling begin by observing any defensive feelings or anytime emotion seems to take over without thought.  To shine light on an underlying or repressed feeling one must be willing to learn how to step outside the ego and observe what the ego story is; it is vital for this kind of transformation process.

Building self awareness; becoming an observer of feelings is a proven way of bringing them to consciousness, choice and a healthy expression.  Awareness coupled with observations allows a shift in perception which allows the return to the desired overall authentic joy.

Feelings unexpressed, (repressed, suppressed, masked or concealed) will find a way to express according to many authors such as Louise Hay (Heal your Body) and Karol Truman (Feelings Buried Alive Never Die).  Unexpressed feelings are often the root of a variety of physical and mental illnesses that fester due to the denial of the true Self at some level.

Feelings are effected by and sometimes created through our thought process; our held perception and the beliefs that support that thinking.  Beliefs are often buried and unconscious.

The importance of building awareness of the stories we tell ourselves and others is key to keeping our feelings healthy and being able to create the desired overall joy and individual expression of our Highest Good.  Another process is to build awareness in order to adjust the story to something that creates a better feeling emotion.

Mindful meditation, mindful journaling and/or mindful observation of your thoughts will all assist in building this required awareness, choice and empowerment ; allowing the  overall joyful way of being on purpose.

Understanding the ego is like a tape recorder as taught by Bruce Lipton -it will continue to play the same established beliefs over and over regardless of the outcome- is vital to orchestrating your own transformation.  Additionally understanding the ego will and does defend its story at all cost, thinking it is literally saving your life will help to take an approach that is easier for the ego to accept.  Understanding the role of the ego and the Essence helps in accepting the importance of a focus towards a balance of the two.    Denial causes more denial and dysfunction.   Many great teachers share the benefit in owning both the ego and the Essence, as equal partners.

The ego can be taught and/or fed a new story (belief) for it to “play” that assists with alignment.  This is felt as a shift in perception, a relaxing of tension in the overall body and the ability to observe rather than react.   It brings an overall calm sense of peace to the individual regardless of the outer occurrences, which allows the person to think clearer and wiser.

In my opinion this is where our journey begins with feelings…..remember to have fun with it!

I am looking forward to your thoughts and our discussions tomorrow.   Nancy
