“You are the only one who creates in your experience—no one else.

Everything that comes to you comes by the power of your thought. . . .” ~ Abraham-Hicks

Kate Chrismas shares:  “Awareness, what are we giving our attention to, is the most life-altering form of energy available to us. It is our awareness that has the greatest influence on the body, our perceptions and emotions. Eastern psychologies say that emotions are attracted to the body's nervous system according to what the person is giving their attention to. Thus the emotional body actually reacts to the consciousness body. Your anger is the emotional body's response to your thoughts; your thoughts do not take their cues from your emotions.

The old saying, "We have seen the enemy and it is us," has never been truer when it comes to what we habitually give our attention to. We invite, accumulate and aggravate our miseries according to what we give our attention to. Conversely we also heal, overcome and breakthrough life's challenges according to our awareness. The empowering aspect of this situation is that what lives in an unlimited, Heavenly place is only as far away as what we are focusing on.”

“Chronic attention to unwanted things holds you in a place of disallowing your physical well-being, as well as disallowing the solutions to other things you are focused upon.” ~ Abraham-Hicks

Taken in part from the work of Lilburn S. Barksdale:  “Awareness = consciously creating:  Your awareness of yourself affects how you think and therefore how you create both consciously and unconsciously.  Awareness is the product of the combination of ones heredity, Inner Knowing and life experiences to date.  Awareness directly affects your values, desires and needs, stress levels, decisions, actions and the prevailing consequences which create more life experiences.”

Be aware of what is “normal” for you.  How is it working for you?   What experiences are you creating? Do you want to change it?  You can by being aware and choosing a different thought/belief/perspective.

Daily OM:  Not taking  things personally:   “Before we allow ourselves to invest our energy into negative thought or action, we can remind ourselves that everything has a purpose. We can then consider that perhaps the actions of the other person or people may have had nothing to do with us. If we don’t take their actions personally, it may be easier to release them. Remembering that every interaction is an opportunity to make a better choice, we can take a deep breath before responding, allowing us just enough time to connect to center and make the choice to respond from our higher self. We can never know all the circumstances that may have led anyone to do anything. By not passing judgment on anyone, and instead sending hope for their healing, we may create something positive out of a difficult situation. In every moment we have a chance to make a choice to bring light into the world. When we bless others with the gift of our positive energy, instead of letting circumstances affect us negatively, we bring a little peace to the world every day.”

Journaling is a tool to create awareness.  Observe your thoughts as you journal.  Take time to release and then re-write your story to match the vibration of your desire.

Abraham Hicks:  “Most people do not realize that as they continue to find things to complain about, they disallow their own well-being. It does not matter if the object of your complaint is about someone you are angry with, behavior in others that you believe is wrong, or something wrong with your own physical body—complaining is complaining, and it disallows improvement.”

Monitor Input:  What do you allow into your subconscious thinking from everyday sources?  TV, Radio, Internet, Friends, Family….  You can choose to sensor your input. Ask yourself if the messages you are listening to are based in lack or fear.  Are you are accepting that vibration into your reality?  How is that working for you?  You can take a break from input that does not match your desire to see what happens.   If you want peace, and you focus on war you are not in alignment with peace.  If you want health, you can not focus on “fighting the disease” etc.

Shifting perspective: Adopt the motto – “Life Will Always Be Working Out for Me. I like understanding that things are always evolving, and while there are many things that could be better where I am, it is not really a problem because "where I am" is constantly changing to something better. I like knowing that as I look for the best things around me where I am, those things become more prevalent in my experience” ~ Abraham-Hicks

“It is fun to know that things are always working out for me, and as I watch for the evidence of that . . . I see more evidence of that every day.  Begin telling the story of your desire, and then add to it the details of the positive aspects that you can find that match those desires. And then embellish your positive expectation by speculating with your good-feeling ~ Wouldn't it be nice if . . . ? examples.” ~ Abraham-Hicks

“You can say things like: Only good things come to me. . . I'll figure it out as I go along. . .. Every time you tell your better-feeling story, you will feel better and the details of your life will improve. The better it gets, the better it gets.”  ~ Abraham-Hicks

Develop a state of appreciation:  “Make lists of positive aspects. Make lists of things you love—and never complain about anything. And as you use those things that shine bright and make you feel good as your excuse to give your attention and be who-you-are, you will tune to who-you-are, and the whole world will begin to transform before your eyes. It is not your job to transform the world for others—but it is your job to transform it for you. A state of appreciation is pure Connection to Source where there is no perception of lack.” ~ Abraham-Hicks

Distract yourself:  “The best way to accomplish an improved environment is to focus upon the best things about where you currently are until you flood your own vibrational patterns of thought with appreciation, and in that changed vibration, you can then allow the new-and-improved conditions and circumstances to come into your experience”.    ~ Abraham-Hicks
