Nuture Yourself
Lisha St. Clair shares this with you.....
NURTURING MYSELF
I acknowledge myself right where I am today. I think about how far I’ve come and the areas of my growth, even when they’ve been small.
I open the curtains, for light always helps.
I walk.
I commune with nature.
I ask my heart what to do when I feel confused. I close my eyes and if my heart is open I am making the right decision. If my chest feels tight and closed, I wait and continue to ask for guidance.
I pamper myself.
I breathe. When I feel tense, I stop and take a deep breath for the count of four [slowly]; hold for four; exhale for four.
I talk to someone I trust, but only someone who can see and hold me as whole. This is not about complaining; it’s about sharing my feelings about myself so I can be healed.
I ask for guidance in my sleep state just before going to bed.
I give thanks for the day as I fall asleep.
