We shared a brief discussion last week around intending for another.  In ways that always amaze me, more information has flowed to me this week regarding this topic.   I share it with you, for your consideration.

As I understand, the answer to the question, "Can you intend for another?" is - Yes, yes you can set an intention for another however....... it is imperative to understand you cannot change another person with an intention.  The best an intention can do for another person is make available energy that they can choose to tap into or not.

The importance of how you feel before making the intention, which works the same when making any intention for yourself, is to be aware of your feelings and thoughts about the situation.  Abraham teaches that an intention is far more powerful when the Intender is within their own vortex, knowing all is good, then when an intention is made from a place of judgment, lack and or fear.

It is important to take time to first be aware of how you are feeling about the person and the situation and shift to feelings that support the person, rather than judging or seeing them as less then perfectly on their path and making an intention for them.

If your intention does not match the person’s current vibration they will notice it as resistance and or as another difficulty.  It could have an opposite effect then what was initially intended.   If the intention is made with any feelings of judgment, the intention could give forth vibrations opposite of what is intended.  It is the same as intending from a place of wanting - the vibration is one of lack instead of what is desired.  Make sense?

What is suggested, is to make your intentions personal and about yourself.  Knowing that we all are mirrors for each other and if you are experiencing stress from another’s discomfort or situation it is because you have "matching pictures" that offer you an opportunity to grow and learn.

I intend all my thoughts, feelings, words, actions and reactions for "-insert the person’s name" supports my and their............. (Suggestions to fill in:   Highest Good, overall health, well being, focus, success, etc).

By making your intentions personal, you are more likely to be in touch with your feelings around the intention.  By being more personal you are taking personal responsibility for the mirror you have with the person and the experience.   Your intention has the potential to be more effective in changing yourself, so that the other person has "room" to change themselves and align with their match their Highest Good........

RSVP's for our Intenders Circles are always appreciated.
Nancy
